I'm not quite there yet

If you really know me,

you'll be surprised.

I'm not the person you know today.

I'm far from what you've imagined.

The person you know today, is just part of me who I wish to be many years ago.

But I'm not quite there yet.

I still have many years to go.

Until then, I'm hoping you remember who I am today.

And when I look back, I'm hoping I remember that person I used to be.
